The Foundation to Year two students received a visit from Coach Steph and Coach Terry this week from Little Athletics Victoria, during their Physical Education lessons as part of their athletics unit. The coaches concentrated on the skills of running, throwing and jumping and were thoroughly enjoyed by all students who were involved. The students are currently learning all the skills and events required for this year’s athletics carnival which is on May 31st. If you would like to enrol your child/children in Little Athletics please refer to the information below.

The grade 3-6 girls had the opportunity to meet an AFL player from the women’s league. Maddie Keryk from the Carlton Football Club visited the school on Tuesday and answered some questions from a keen group of girls. Maddie did some drills with the girls that included handballing and kicking and finished off the session signing her autograph. We thank Maddie for coming to our school and wish her all the very best of luck with her football career.
